JavaFX 11 ComboBox.getSelectionModel (). ClearSelection () заканчивается в исключении IndexOutOfBoundsException

У меня проблема с комбобоксами JavaFX 11.У меня есть одна запись, которая сбрасывает комбинированный список.Но следующий код всегда заканчивается в IndexOutOfBoundException. 

if (combobox_class.getValue() != null && 
      combobox_class.getValue().equals("Bitte wählen ...")) {
      combobox_class.setPromptText("Bitte wählen");
      combobox_class.getSelectionModel().clearSelection();
}

Если я выполню этот код, я получу следующее сообщение об ошибке:

Я уже пытался сбросить Comboboxс myCombobox.setValue(null), но возвращается то же сообщение об ошибке.
