Вызов функции-члена между () в строке

Question

Я строю систему управления активами, и я пытаюсь проверить, если дата покупки между определенным финансовым годом, поэтому я могу обновить столбец года в таблице активов, у меня есть этот код в моем контроллере:

Оказалось, что решение было действительно простым, я просто использовал Carbon :: parse

Так что мое решение было

// год 2016

$from2016 = Carbon::parse('2016-04-06');
$to2016 = Carbon::parse('2017-04-05');


$time= Carbon::parse($asset->purchase_date);

 if ($time->between( $from2016,$to2016) )
    { ..................

Поле purchase_between - это дата, но laravel не знает об этом, поэтому рассматривает ее как строку.Чтобы автоматически преобразовать его в экземпляр Carbon, необходимо указать его в модели активов.Поместите это в начало вашей модели (Asset.php).
