VS не распознает папку проекта WPF, извлеченную из репозитория Git

У меня есть заданный проект WPF в репозитории Git. Когда я попытался вытащить его в локальный репозиторий через GitKraken, Visual Studio почему-то не распознала определенную папку в проекте WPF (VS запускается с правами администратора), поэтому теперь у меня нет ее содержимого на моем компьютере.

Я подозреваю, что проблема связана с обработкой файла Git .csproj, потому что он не содержит данных о "игнорируемом" каталоге. После нескольких часов поиска я не могу найти приемлемое решение для управления файлом .csproj с помощью Git.

что я могу сделать для правильного извлечения / объединения проекта WPF для извлечения всех необходимых компонентов репо?

EDIT: Для Git я использую Devure Azure с клиентом GitKraken.

Alopogize для неверно истолкованного описания. Git загружает папку, только VS не может загрузить ее.
