Вы можете использовать if statement, чтобы вырваться из for loop:

    stop = False 

    for qa in dic[language]:
        if not stop:
            q = qa['question']
            a = qa['answer']
            ans = simpledialog.askstring("Input", q, parent=root)
            if ans == a:
                print("Great job!")
                stop = True
            else:
                print("The correct answer was...", a)
            screen.listen()

         else: break

Или более эффективно, вы можете просто сломаться, когда вы хотите остановиться:

        q = qa['question']
        a = qa['answer']

        else:
