Я запускаю nn на colab и столкнулся с этой ошибкой, которой не было, когда я запускал тот же код в моей локальной системе.Я пробовал с уменьшенным размером пакета, но ошибка все еще сохраняется.

Название вашего вопроса говорит о том, что является причиной этой ошибки. target должен иметь тип torch.LongTensor, но вместо этого torch.ByteTensor. Перед звонком nll_loss сделайте: 

target = target.type(torch.LongTensor)
...
