Мы используем Swagger для исследования API и один раз мы отключили бритву.

И это привело к проблеме с чванством

Исходная ошибка:

Как появилась проблема: мы использовали services.AddMvcCore вместо services.AddMvc

Как решить: добавить регистрацию ApiExplorer

Например:

services.AddMvcCore()
    .AddJsonFormatters()
    .AddApiExplorer(); // this line is solution of problem
