Метод 'setLenient' GsonBuilder не найден в IntelliJ

Я пытаюсь создать плагин Jira, который использует веб-сервис REST, используя Retrofit и RxJava2. Я создал прототип остального клиента в «нормальной» Java-программе со следующим pom.

Прототип работает как положено.

Теперь я перенес этот прототип в свой плагин jira со следующим pom.xml:

На этот раз, похоже, есть проблема с зависимостью от lib Gson. Метод setLenient() из GsonBuilder в строке 

Gson gson = new GsonBuilder().setLenient().create();

не разрешается. Все остальное работает просто отлично. Я использовал те же зависимости в обоих poms, насколько это возможно, но ошибка все еще существует. Я понятия не имею, где искать сейчас. IntelliJ просто не разрешает этот метод.

Я попытался повторно импортировать все зависимости и удалил кеш проекта, но оба не работали. Есть идеи?
