Docker-compose - узлы_модули не заполняются на хосте

Я пытаюсь построить следующий сервис с помощью docker-compose.yml:

но node_modules не заполняются, когда я собираю 'client' с: 

docker-compose -f docker-compose-dev.yml build client

все, что я получаю:

и Seeds.jsx выдает такие ошибки:

Примечание:

Я попытался удалить контейнер и тома, построив с помощью build --no-cache, а также удалив эту строку: 

- '/usr/src/app/node_modules'

безрезультатно. что не так?

Тома монтируются во время выполнения, а RUN команды выполняются при построении образа.Ваш подход некорректен, вам нужно переосмыслить, как он работает и каковы цели.

Одной из альтернатив может быть запуск npm install в ENTRYPOINT со скриптом: 

ENTRYPOINT ["/entrypoint.sh"]
CMD ["npm", "start"]

Где entrypoint.sh содержит что-то вроде: 

#!/bin/bash
npm install
exec $*
