Как использовать вызов этой функции в Swift

Я новичок в swift, поэтому я хочу попробовать это расширение, чтобы обрезать изображение, но я не знаю, как его назвать, я уже пытался вызвать его с помощью этого кода, но я получил неиспользованное уведомление, и это возможно, если я установлю ширину и высотус использованием uiimageview?спасибо за ответ действительно ценю это

Вам нужно удерживать возвращаемое значение 

let result = previewKTPImage.image?.crop(to:CGSize(width: 500, height: 500))
previewKTPImage.image = result // note this will stretch it also so

настроить contentMode при необходимости 

previewKTPImage.contentMode = .scaleAspectFit
