Попытался установить python через anaconda, brew и python.org, даже установив версию 3.6.6, надеясь, что я смогу заставить одного из них работать. Каждая установка приводила к ошибкам сертификации ssl, когда я пытался установить пакет. Ниже приведен пример ошибки из текущей установки Python 3.7.
Я прочитал каждую страницу с любой ссылкой на ошибки openssl и следовал каждой инструкции. Этот последний, вероятно, нанес больше вреда моей машине. Я установил, удалил и переустановил с каждого из anaconda, brew и python.org, удалив и очистив кучу папок по пути, пытаясь сделать чистую установку. По пути мне даже удалось удалить pip, wheel и setuptools из папки site-directorys предустановленной версии python для яблока. В общем, после недели инсталляции Python я полностью застрял.
