JUnit и TestNG, работающие вместе, возвращают сообщение: «Разбитая виртуальная машина завершила работу, не сказав должным образом до свидания. Сбой виртуальной машины или вызванный System.exit?»

Попытка запустить JUnit Tests и TestNG Tests Suite вместе в проекте Maven.

Когда я запускаю "mvn clean install" или "mvn clean test", тесты JUnit выполняются правильно, однако тесты TestNGне запускаются, возвращая следующую ошибку

Execution default-test of goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-surefire-plugin:2.19.1:test failed: The forked VM terminated without properly saying goodbye. VM crash or System.exit called?
