MySQL-python, ошибка: команда 'gcc-4.2' завершилась неудачно с состоянием выхода 1

Я искал решение для этого, и кажется, что есть много разных решений, но ни одно, похоже, не работает.

Я использую MySQL-Python, чтобы попытаться настроить MySQL с помощью Python. Но когда я пытаюсь запустить 

sudo python setup.py build

Я получаю следующую ошибку:

У меня была такая же проблема. После нескольких часов борьбы я использовал ActivePython (http://code.activestate.com/pypm/mysql-python/) для успешной установки MySQL-python. Хотя он не решает вашу ошибку точно, он решает общую проблему :)
