Я пытаюсь переопределить функцию в дочерней теме WordPress, которая уже используется родительской темой. Тем не менее, я получаю сообщение «Неустранимая ошибка: невозможно повторно объявить» при попытке сделать это.

Также я безуспешно пытался использовать следующее:

Вы не можете переопределить эту функцию, так как объявление родительской темы выполняется после вашего объявления, и она не пытается проверить, существует ли функция.

Единственный способ - обернуть родительскую темуобъявление функции внутри условия if. 

if (!function_exists('jr_load_scripts')) {

}
...
