JNI, как получить доступ к текущему потоку Java в JNI

есть ли способ получить поток Java (идентификатор, имя) из JNI. Я не говорю о передаче Thread.currentThread().getId() из Java в JNI. Предоставляет ли JNI API для доступа к текущему запущенному потоку?

Вы можете (как упомянул Алекс) прибегнуть к java.lang.Thread.
